Cahoots NI’s adaption of Under the Hawthorn Tree was developed closely with the book’s author, Marita Conlon-McKenna, in association with National Museums Northern Ireland. After the initial development stage, Marita was kind enough to share some of her thoughts.
“I was very proud of the production of ‘Under the Hawthorn Tree’ I saw…I know how much hard work and effort and time and energy went into rehearsing and staging the play. Cahoots are a truly exceptional children’s Theatre Company and it was a real honour to have the opportunity to work with them.”
